I do not accept insurance or provide superbills.

Any form of involvement with insurance companies - even as an out of network provider - can create requests for clinical notes and risk clawbacks to fees / reimbursement.

You can use an HSA or FSA card for services.

EMDR is a remarkable modality that can create significant change and it’s best preformed in longer sessions.

Insurance will only pay up to 53 minutes of a session. This time constraint severely limits the therapist and the depth of the modality.

Shorter sessions have a greater chance of incomplete reprocessing and can lead to increased negative symptoms / side effects in between sessions.

Confidentiality is important to me. As soon as insurance is involved the water begins to muddy and confidentiality can be compromised in the name of insurance reimbursement.

Frankly, I don’t think the details of your life and/or trauma are any of your insurance companies business and I strive to protect that information.

I accept all major credit/debit cards, HSA (Health Savings Account) cards, and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) cards.

Payment is rendered at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

All EMDR Intensive packages are eligible for a payment plan option.

Cancellation Policy:

• 90 minute and Extended sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be changed 50% of the service fee..

• 90 minute and Extended sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be changed 100% of the service fee.

Intensive Packages Cancellation Policy:

• The deposit due at booking to secure your dates is non-refundable no matter how far in advance the intensive is cancelled.

• Any intensive cancelled within 72 hours of start day / time will be responsible for 100% of the fee and any unpaid balance will be charged to the payment method on file.

I offer both in person and virtual sessions for clients in the state of NJ at the time of session.

In person sessions are held in Westfield, NJ.

My preference is for in person sessions.

Unfortunately, if you are not physically located in the state of NJ at the time our session is held - I am not able to meet with you.

EMDR Intensive packages are typically the best option for those from out of state that are able to travel to NJ for in person sessions.

EMDR with me can be done as an adjunctive service while you continue to work with your current provider.

I’m happy to consult with your provider if you would like to promote continuity of care.

EMDR can be done in an intensive or monthly extended session format with little disruption to your current therapy schedule.
